Wegovy (semaglutide)
Wegovy® is a prescription injectable medication used for chronic weight management in adults and adolescents with obesity or who are overweight with at least one weight-related condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol). It contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, which works by regulating appetite and calorie intake, helping users feel full longer and reduce food consumption.
Wegovy is administered once weekly via subcutaneous injection and should be used along with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Approved Uses:

Adults with a BMI ≥30 (obesity), or a BMI ≥27 (overweight) with at least one weight-related health condition

Important Safety Information:
